The Master has been names the best film at Kansas City Film Critics

The Master won best film at the Kansas City Film Critics. Phillip Seymour Hoffman was also honored while Ang Lee won Best director. This mark the fourth loss for Zero Dark Thirty making the film no longer the front runner.
