Argo wins the SAG Awards




Argo wins the SAG awards making the film the front runner to win the Oscar.

Best of 2012-Francisco Salazar's Honorable Mentions


2012 has come to an end and as we continue awards season I would like to take this time to share my favorite films the year. While I was not able to see all the films I saw a great portion of Indies and Studio films that really captured this year's essence. The following is a list of my honorable mentions that while I loved did not make my top ten films of the year.


Les Miserables leads the Online Film and TV Association nominees



Les Miserables led the Online Film and television Association with 17 nominations while Linolcn obtain 13 nominations. Life of Pi also obtained 11 nominations Moonrise Kingdom and Zero Dark Thirty Dark led with 12 nominations

Argo wins the Producers Guild of America


Argo has taken the producers Guild of America but it is not clear if this still makes the dil the clear front runner as SAG Will be tonight. Wreck It Ralph took the animated film but like the Producers Guild that category has been disputed by five different films throughout awards season. Searching for sugerman continues racking the awards.

SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK wins the Georgia Film Critics

SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK WINS THE GEORGIA FILM CRITICS WITH ZERO DARK THIRTY TAKING HOME THE BEST DIRECTOR AWARD. 

Amour win's the London Film Critics

Amour won the Best Film of the year as well the best actress and best screenplay awards. The Master went home with the best actor and supporting actor race. Anne Hathaway emerged as the supporting Actress winner.

Lincoln Wins the Iowa Film Critics


The Iowa Film Critics have recognized Lincoln as the Best film of the year. The film won two acting categories and a director award. Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain also won awards.

Argo wins Gay and Lesbian film critics

Argo won the Gay and Lesbian Film critics. The film competed against fellow nominees Lincoln, Les Miserables and Beasts of the Southern Wild. Anne Hathaway and Daniel Day-Lewis went home with the acting categories while How to survive the Plague won best documentary.
